Measure both feet and fit shoes to the larger foot. You will get a more accurate measurement if someone else measures your feet while you stand. Sit on a chair if you are taking your own measurements. Don't assume your shoe size is the same it has always been, the shape of your feet changes over time.
Our measurements are made in the following way.
1. Stand on a piece of blank paper on a hard floor surface (not carpet). 2. Align the inside of your foot with the edge of the paper. 3. Have someone else measure your foot by marking on the paper with lines perpendicular to the edge of the paper. You are marking a shadow line at heel and toe as if a light was shining down from directly above. 4. Measure the distance between the two lines. This is the length of your foot in mm. Reference your longest foot length to the sizes in the table for the style you are considering. Please refer to the FAQ page for the tables.
